Company Overview
Telperion Solutions Group was founded in 2001. Owners, Darrel Winbush and Jack Finklea, have a more than 70 years of combined experience in Information Technology.
Mr. Winbush and Mr. Finklea lead the company to higher levels of service by fully embracing today’s advanced technologies in converged networks and business applications. Currently, Telperion has offices in both Rochester and Buffalo, New York.
Buffalo Office:
Telperion responds to the Information Technology needs of several not-for-profit organizations in the Buffalo area that comprise a combined IT infrastructure of approximately 2,900 employees, 50+ locations, 100+ servers, VoIP advanced technology and applications to support the business.
Rochester Office:
Telperion also provides IT Support to smaller organizations in the Rochester area including a trade union, multiple law offices, and a consulting firm. Telperion is currently under contract to provide support services to the City of Rochester and the Rochester Police Department.
In July of 2007, Telperion management departed from their previous practice of vendor neutrality as a result of many customer engagements that centered on advanced technologies from Microsoft and Cisco. Still, the business focus is to provide the best solution for the customer’s requirements, but all too often those solutions can be best addressed with products from recognized industry leaders such as Microsoft and Cisco.
Today, Telperion is a Microsoft Solutions Provider and Partner recognized by Microsoft as having expert knowledge, skills and experience in the deployment of workforce technologies, Desktop Operating Systems, and Office productivity.
The Telperion team has also demonstrated its knowledge and skill in deploying VoIP solutions from Cisco with many certifications that attest to the specific technology and general routing, switching, wireless, and security aspects of Cisco products.
Industry Accreditations
Telperion offers customers the services of consultants who have earned some of the IT industry’s most prestigious certifications, and we require and sponsor all in-house engineers to keep existing certifications current while earning additional ones related to their specific expertise.
We recognize that credentials by themselves do not guarantee a top-quality consultant, but we believe that customers deserve to know that their IT service providers have formal training and testing as well as extensive practical experience in the field so that our clients can engage our service with confidence.
