Group, LLC was founded in 2001 in Rochester, NY as an Information
Technology (IT) services company with 5 partners. Telperion currently
has 16 employees and has a growing business providing IT outsourcing
and project work across western NY to clients in healthcare, government,
and utility companies. As of March 2006, Telperion provides IT support
for about 2,500 client employees at 55 locations including 1,000
PCs, and fifty servers. A major portion of Telperion’s business
in 2006 is located in Buffalo, NY.
The partners of Telperion have experience at Fortune 500 companies
including General Motors, EDS, Xerox,
Kodak, General Electric, and experience with regional organizations
such as RG&E – now Energy East, Multiple Technologies
Corporation, Ultralife Batteries, Manufacturers Bank of Detroit,
Bassett Healthcare, Rochester Police Department, The City of
Rochester, Chemung County, Chautauqua County, and Labtronics.
The partners are considered experts in several areas and have
served as instructors at Seattle Pacific University, RIT, Element K, and CESC.
